Driven by a mission to deliver quality education and contribute to research and manpower development, the faculty upholds core values such as excellence, integrity, and innovation. Its objectives include maintaining high academic standards, promoting ethical values, and fostering program growth through research and curriculum development.
Aligned with its strategic plan, the faculty has completed all necessary processes to introduce eight new programs slated to commence in the upcoming 2024/2025 academic session. These programs encompass BSc in Procurement Management, Marketing, Aviation Management, Petroleum Information Management, Public Administration, Security and Investment Management, Taxation, and Finance.

Deans profile
Prof. Kida's career progression from a graduate assistant to a professor at various institutions demonstrates his commitment to education and student development. Specializing in International Accounting, Auditing, Strategic Public Finance, and project evaluation, he has authored and edited significant works and contributed to academic and non-academic publications nationally and internationally.
Beyond teaching, Prof. Kida has played diverse roles as a part-time lecturer, visiting professor, consultant, and external examiner across universities, contributing to academic excellence and evaluation standards. He has held administrative positions such as coordinator, department head, director, and dean, showcasing his leadership and commitment to university and community development.
Prof. Kida's involvement in Councils, Senates, Faculty, and Departmental committees, along with his consultancy roles for newly established universities, highlights his dedication to service and academia. His editorial roles and substantial scholarly output underscore his impact on global academic platforms and his commitment to advancing knowledge.

Welcome to the Faculty of Management Science at the Federal University of Lafia, where we are committed to excellence in education, research, and professional development. I am Professor Mohammed Isa Kida, and it is my privilege to serve as the pioneer and current Dean of this esteemed faculty.
Our journey began in the 2019/2020 academic session with a vision to cultivate leaders in management and administration equipped with the skills and knowledge to navigate today’s dynamic business environment. Our faculty started with two departments offering programs in Accounting and Business Administration, and since then, we have grown significantly in both academic offerings and faculty strength.
As we uphold our core values of excellence, integrity, and innovation, our faculty members, both academic and non-academic, work tirelessly to ensure a conducive learning environment that fosters intellectual growth and personal development. Our objectives are clear: to maintain high academic standards, promote ethical values, and facilitate program growth through cutting-edge research and curriculum development.
I am delighted to announce that in line with our strategic plan, we are preparing to launch eight new programs in the upcoming 2024/2025 academic session. These programs, spanning areas such as Procurement Management, Marketing, Aviation Management, and others, reflect our commitment to meeting industry demands and preparing students for diverse career pathways.
