FULafia Governing Council extends tenures of Bursar and Librarian
The Governing Council, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has, during its 6th Extraordinary Meeting, approved one year extension to the tenures of office for Bursar, Dr Daniel Anjola Wilson, and University Librarian, Professor Abiodun Olaide lyoro. The extension was in consonance with Section 5, Subsection 5 of the Universities (Miscellaneous Provision) (Amendment) Act, 2012, which grants the Governing Council authority to extend the tenure of key university officers under specific circumstances that support the institution’s stability and strategic needs.
