NSUK hosts FULafia to friendly football match

As part of activities to mark the 4th Stakeholders’ Meeting of the Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) and first anniversary of Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman’s tenure as the Vice-Chancellor of the Institution, the university’s staff football team hosted their counterparts from the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) to a novelty football match.

Held at the NSUK football ground, the event drew a large crowd of members of the NSUK community and dignitaries who came to witness the entertaining encounter.

Before kick-off of the game, Prof. Sa’adatu, represented by the Registrar of NSUK, Dr Bala I. Ahmed II, flanked by the representative of FULafia Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Victor Samson Dugga performed the ceremonial kick-off, urging both teams to play in the spirit of camaraderie.

The match ended in a goalless draw, with both teams displaying good sportsmanship and flair.

Coaches from both teams expressed their satisfaction with the outcome, noting the game’s value in promoting unity between the two universities.
