About Us
The Staff Productivity Promotion Unit was created by the third Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, on assumption of duty, the Unit is saddled with the responsibility of improving human capital development. Training and retraining has been identified as the driving force and pathway to productivity, the unit has since inception identified the training gaps in the University community and has organized 17 trainings so far for various categories of staff of the University including the principal officers and other management staff. The Unit comprises of 6 staff membe

Aims & objectives
The Staff Productivity Promotion Unit major aim is to make FULafia among the three (3) best Universities in the continent by improving human capital developments through staff training and retraining. Objectives:
Identifying training needs of staff and management of the University <brIdentifying cadre of staff to be trained
Organizing annual specialized training for some Departments, Units
Make proposals for training
Accept proposals from Faculties, Directorates, unit for training
Research on competent resource persons to deliver lectures during trainings
Getting update on new innovations on trainings techniques etc
