V-C inaugurates committees to tackle challenges in FULafia
The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia, FULafia, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has inaugurated three different committees to help him tackle challenges facing the University. The committees are the Resources Mobilisation Committee, University Security Committee and Campus Sanitation and Beautification Committee to work hard to develop and attract resources needed to develop FULafia, charging the security Committee members to work with security agencies to secure lives and property of staff and students. The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia, FULafia, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has call on the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU FULafia Branch, to cooperate with him to make the University a world class centre of learning. A pioneer director has been appointed for the Muhammadu Buhari Institute for Research and Training (MBIRT). He is Dr. Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, currently the Head of Department of Physics, Federal University of Lafia. The MBIRT is a newly built multi-millionaire Naira Research Laboratory Complex at the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) that was, recently, named after President Muhammadu Buhari.
