It would be recalled that in the 2022 Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA), held in Lagos, Ogechukwu, a 400-level student of the Department of Social Work, won a gold medal in judo while two others from FULafia, namely, Favour Aboki and Gata Bridget, won silver medal, each, in karate. The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointments of new deans of faculties of the University. Those appointed included Prof. Surajudeen Junaid as the Dean, Faculty of Medical Laboratory Science, Prof. Benjamin Umar Ebeshi, as the Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Dr. Joseph Dlama Zira, as Acting Dean, Faculty of Radiography and Applied Health Science.
