New heads emerge for SPPU, Curriculum Development
The Vice-Chancellor Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointment of Dr Abdulkareem Alhassan as the new Head of Staff Productivity and Promotion Unit (SPPU) of the University. Similarly, Dr Abdulganiyu Salami has emerged as the new Head of Curriculum Development. The appointments were announced in a statement issued by the Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu. FULafia’s Jonathan Okewu wins big in DUT, South Africa By Paulinus Auta Jonathan Okewu, a lecturer in the Department of Visual and Creative Art, Faculty of Environmental Design, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), has emerged winner of the Durban University of Technology (DUT) “Creative Output Of The Year” award. Okewu, a conceptual ceramic artist, is currently a postdoctoral research fellow with the Faculty of Arts and Design at the Durban University of Technology.
