FULafia V-C, Abdul Rahman, approves new directorate, appoints acting directors

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the upgrading of the Staff Productivity Promotions Unit (SPPU) to a full-fledged directorate to be known as the Directorate of Staff Training and Development (DST&D).

In line with this development, the vice-chancellor has appointed Mrs. Becky Kajo as the Acting Director of the newly established Directorate of Staff Training and Development (DST&D).

The vice-chancellor has, also, approved the appointments of the following persons:

Mr. Isa Tukur Keffi – Acting Director, Directorate of Procurement

Mrs. Saratu Haruna – Acting Director, Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Mr. Ado Abubakar – Acting Director, Directorate of Audit

Mr. Yusuf Obiya – Acting Director, Physical Planning Directorate j

Mr. Ibrahim Mijinyawa – Acting Director, Directorate of Environmental Safety (DES)

Mr. Isa Mohammed Ozyegya – Acting Director, Directorate of Sports

Mr. Abubakar Ibrahim – Acting Director, Directorate of Information and Public Relations

Barr. Ignatius Efiom – Acting Director, Legal Services

According to a statement issued by the Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, the appointments, which all would subsist for a period of one year, take effect from May 1, 2025.
