Advance Education:
- To provide a comprehensive education in history that covers a wide range of geographical regions, chronological periods, and thematic topics, enabling students to develop a broad understanding of global historical dynamics.
Promote Research:
- To foster a culture of research and scholarship among students and faculty, encouraging original historical inquiry, archival research, and critical analysis of primary and secondary sources.
Foster Collaboration:
- To facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships within the department, across the university, and with external institutions and communities, promoting dialogue, exchange, and mutual understanding.

Undergraduate Programs:
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History:
- Description: A comprehensive program offering a broad survey of world history, as well as specialized coursework in areas such as political history, social history, cultural history, and intellectual history.
- Curriculum may include: World History Surveys, Historical Methods, Research Seminars, Thematic Courses.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History with a Concentration in Public History:
- Description: A specialized program focusing on the practice of public history, including museum studies, archival management, historic preservation, and community engagement.
- Curriculum may include: Public History Internships, Museum Studies, Oral History, Digital Humanities.
Graduate Programs:
Master of Arts (M.A.) in History:
- Description: A graduate-level program offering advanced coursework and research opportunities in history, preparing students for further study or careers in education, public service, or historical research.
- Curriculum may include: Historiography, Advanced Research Methods, Thesis or Comprehensive Exam.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History:
