Aims and Objectives:
Advance Education:
- To provide a comprehensive and interdisciplinary education in English language, literature, and culture, covering foundational principles, critical theories, and literary traditions from diverse historical periods and geographical regions.
Promote Research:
- To conduct innovative research that advances our understanding of language, literature, and cultural expression, addressing questions of identity, power, representation, and social justice.
Foster Collaboration:
- To foster collaboration and partnerships with academic institutions, cultural organizations, and community groups to promote interdisciplinary research, cultural exchange, and public engagement in English studies.

Undergraduate Programs:
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English:
- Description: A comprehensive program providing students with a strong foundation in English language, literature, and cultural studies.
- Curriculum may include: British Literature, American Literature, World Literature, Literary Theory, Composition and Rhetoric, Creative Writing.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English with a concentration in Creative Writing:
- Description: A specialized program focusing on the theory and practice of creative writing, including fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and drama.
- Curriculum may include: Creative Writing Workshops, Writing for Publication, Literary Editing, Literature of the Creative Imagination.
Graduate Programs:
Master of Arts (M.A.) in English:
- Description: A graduate-level program offering advanced coursework and research opportunities in English language, literature, and cultural studies.
- Curriculum may include: Advanced Literary Analysis, Critical Theory, Research Methods, Thesis or Project.
Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing:
