Colloquium organised to foster intellectual, institutional growth, says Prof. Kida

The Chairman of the Committee of Provosts, Deans, and Directors (CPDD) at the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Mohamed Isa Kida, said that “colloquium is organised to promote dialogue, debate and exchange of ideas.”
Kida made the statement during a recently held colloquium organised by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor of FULafia for provosts, deans and directors.
He expressed his gratitude to the vice-chancellor for supporting the event emphasising that the colloquium would lead to enhanced leadership at all levels and equip leaders with the necessary tools to address modern university management challenges.
The colloquium featured discussions on various topics, including soft skills for effective leadership, innovation, and digital transformation in the university system, and enhancing strategic leadership and synergy for intellectual development.
Notable speakers included Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of FULafia, Prof. Fransica Oladipo, Vice-Chancellor of Thomas Adewunmi University, and Prof. Usman Ibrahim, Provost of Samaru College of Agriculture.
Kida thanked the resource persons for sharing their knowledge with the participants.
