Abdul Rahman, in Awe, congratulates new Majekira

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, graced the turbaning ceremony of the Director FULAFIA Consult, Dr Usman Ibrahim, in Awe L.G.A. of Nasarawa State, as majekira with a call on the celebrant to see his new status as a call to serve his community better.

It would be recalled that the Emir of Awe, His Royal Highness (Dr) Isa Abubakar Umar II, recently, announced Ibrahim as the Majekiran Awe and a date for the official ceremony for the confirmation of the new title on Ibrahim was slated for February 15, 2025.

Abdul Rahman congratulated Usman Ibrahim for doing so much to earn his new title, describing him as a worthy son of Awe Emirate “as evident in today’s testimony.”

He prayed Allah to continue to guide Ibrahim, protect him and the entire emirate.
