FULafia: Vice-Chancellor commends CEDS staff

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has commended the Centre for Entrepreneurial Development Studies (CEDS) for successfully producing the University’s first set of academic gowns.

The vice-chancellor gave the commendation when he unveiled the newly produced academic gowns at the centre.

He expressed his gratitude with the development, saying that the production of the gowns would address the challenge of shortage of gowns in the University.

The vice-chancellor emphasised that the CEDS’ role went beyond training students to be economically self-reliant and generating revenue for the University to showcasing the values of the University.

He encouraged CEDS to be creative and re-evaluate its production strategies to make unique products, assuring of the Management’s continued to support for the centre.

The Director of CEDS, Prof. David Ugal, appreciated the vice-chancellor’s support, saying it would propel the centre to new heights.

In her vote of thanks, the Deputy Director of CEDS, Dr. Sophia Adofu, expressed her gratitude to the vice-chancellor and his team for the centre’s success in training and equipping students with skills that would benefit them after graduation.
