|By Ene Peters & Friday Ikagu The Head of Department of English and Modern Languages, Dr Halima Amali, has, recently, presented copies of the departmental journal, Kalangu, Vol.1, No2, to Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman. Dr Amali was accompanied to office of Abdul Rahman to present the journal by other staff of the department. The Kalangu is an interesting journal which made its debut in 2019. This was revealed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, when he received the report of the Museum Committee in his office recently. FULafia to make graveside of Dunama tourists site

The vice-chancellor of FULafia, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, revealed that plan when he led the topmost level staff of the University to the graveside of Dunama in Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The Emir of Awe, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Isa Abubakar Umar II, has said that with Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman as the vice-chancellor, the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) is on course to be counted among the best in Africa.
