Abdul Rahman charges HMO on services

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia, FULafia, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has thanked the United Health Care International for its management of the social health insurance scheme of FULafia students.
He, however, demanded for improvement in the services the body renders to students.
Abdul Raman spoke, recently, during the courtesy visit to him in his office made by the officials of the organisation.
He said: “Health is paramount and, an as an institution, we need to collaborate to deliver health service to students and your organisation has proved itself to be reliable in that respect.”
Speaking, the Managing Director of the United Health Care International, Dr Kazeem Mustapha, who led officials of the company, said that they were in the University to look at areas needing improvements as far their services were concerned.
He thanked the vice-chancellor for warmly receiving them, saying that they interacted with staff of the health facility in the University, to ascertain areas that “where we can improve our services.”
He lamented the delay in accessing funds meant for the health scheme since introduction of the IPPIS, pleading with the vice-chancellor to intervene on behalf of his organisation at the IPPIS.
