NSH Spkr, Jatau, commends FULafia V-C’s developmental strides

Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA), has praised Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), for his outstanding leadership and developmental achievements.

During a courtesy visit to the vice-chancellor’s office in Lafia, Jatau expressed the joy of the House of Assembly in the numerous accomplishments recorded under Abdul Rahman’s administration.

He emphasised the importance of collaboration between the University’s Management and the Assembly to promote education in Nasarawa State.

The Speaker also congratulated the vice-chancellor and the University community on the recent presidential approval and conversion of the former Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital to Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital, Lafia.

He prayed for the vice-chancellor and his Management team to continue to receive good health and wisdom in discharging their duties.

In response, Abdul Rahman thanked the speaker for the visit, describing it as a significant development.

He expressed his gratitude to the speaker and members of the House of Assembly for their support in the process of establishing the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital.

The vice-chancellor also appreciated their peace-building efforts in the state and congratulated the speaker on his emergence as the leader of the 7th Assembly, wishing him a successful tenure.
