Dear Esteemed Staff and Beloved Students, as we commemorate this season of Easter, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to every member of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) community.
Easter is a Christian festival which celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his Crucifixion. Thus, it is a time of renewal, reflection and hope. The festival reminds us of the power of sacrifice, the triumph of light over darkness and the unwavering spirit of love and unity.
Therefore, as we celebrate this season, let us reflect on the values of Easter festival and allow them to guide our actions in both our social and personal lives.
May this Easter Sunday inspire everyone to new hope, happiness, prosperity and abundance, all received through God’s divine grace.
I hope that this Easter season will renew our collective commitment to peace, unity and progress, both within our University and in the larger society.
Of course, it is my hope, too, that this Easter festival will bring joy to hearts of our staff and students, peace to their homes and success in all our endeavours.
I urge us all to celebrate the miracle of Easter, the beauty of God’s creation, and the blessing of having each other.
Finally, whatever lifts your spirits is what I wish for you this Easter.
