The Unit has a total number of 8 Staff, the head of Unit is a Fellow of ANAN, 3 of the staff of the Unit are Members of ANAN, the remaining 4 staff are still looking forward to becoming professional accountants in the nearest future.

The Unit is responsible for the proper management of the following Accounts;

1. TSA e-Collection Account

2. TSA Tetfund Account

3. TSA Needs Assessment Account

4. GIFMIS Overhead Account

5. GIFMIS Capital Account

6. GIFMIS Personnel Account

7. Domiciliary Account

8. Service Wide Vote

9. Special Intervention

10. Donor account

All the above mentioned accounts have Cash sheets initiated, written, drafted, managed and mantained by the unit.

The closure of accounts are a yearly routine processes or activity that takes place every 31st of December of each year, and it is done by officials of the office of Accountant General of Federation (AGOF) Abuja and coordinated by the Federal Pay Office of the State.

For the GIFMIS Capital account, the Board of Survey revisits the University on the last day of May 2021 to reconfirm the closure was actually done on 31st December 2020 and all exercise was successful.

Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) visited us in March 2021 to ascertain the level of our Tax remittances and due process if followed.

Revenue and Investment Department in the Office Accountant General Of Federation (OAGOF) visited us during the last week of March 2021 to assess the level of our VAT, WHT and Stamp Duty remittances too.

All the Cash Sheet, payment voucher, miscellaneous receipt since the inception of the University to date are fully initiated, writen, Checked, controlled managed and kept by the unit.
