Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Muhammad Sanusi Liman, has handed over to contractors sites for construction of faculties of agriculture, arts annex, sciences annex and Centre for Entrepreneurial Development.

While handing over the sites to the contractor, Liman tasked them to adhere to standards and to ensure completion of the projects at the specified time, saying: "You must finish your works when you're supposed to do so."

The vice-chancellor stressed the importance of buildings to be completed on schedule, pointing out that when completed, the faculties would greatly contribute to the process of learning and research.

He called on stakeholders to assist the contractors, adding that the management of the university would do all within its power to improve the standard of education in FULafia.

He said: "FULafia will continue to be a center of learning where discipline and high standards of education will be appreciated and promoted."

Liman was accompanied to the sites by some of his Management team members including the deputy vice-chancellor, Prof. Idris O. O. Amali, registrar, Dr. Abubakar Mamuda, librarian, Dr. (Mrs) Rebecca Apeh, head of Physics Department, Prof. Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu and Head of Centre for Entrepreneurial Development, Maryam Isa Ladi.
