Victor Babatete Shiru is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of English and Modern Languages, Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Shiru graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, where he obtained B.A. (English Literature), and M.A. (Literature) respectively.
As a lecturer, his areas of interest include: African American Literature, African Drama, and African Prose.
Some of the courses he had taught in the department are African-American Literature, Introduction to Nigerian Literature II, African Drama, Commonwealth Literature, Literary Theory and Criticism of African Literature, and Comparative Literature.
