Dr. Mrs. Chika Onyashiyiwa Ose Agbo is a graduate of Abia State University Uturu, where her interest in poetry was birthed with her work "Prophetic Vision in Christopher Okigbos Path of Thunder".
After her National Youth Service she returned to ABSU for a Masters Degree in Literature in 2006. Before her appiontment with Federal University Lafia, she volunteers as a Use of English and Research Method lecturer at the College of Agriculture Lafia. She also runs a Book club - Ari-Oshiwa Book Club where she reads to and teaches Children creative writing. In her determination to reach the peak of her academic pursuit, she bagged her Doctor of Philosophy (PH.d) in Oral Literature: specificall on " Content Universalism: A thematic and Poetic Study of Igbo and Alago Proverbs.
To ensure the sustainability of the research outcome, she established Centre for Indigenous Studies: a non governmental, research based and educational organization.
Her first collection of poems Fury of the Gods was published 2012 by Kraft Books. To make research writing easier for students, she published a Handbook on Research Documentation: A Practical guide to TVET students, was published by Old Press Abuja in 2018.
An authoprenuer and advocate of girl- child education, Dr. Ose-Agbo believes that Education creates opportunities and makes great difference especially for the girl-child. Dr. Ose-Agbo is passionate about indigenous Nigerian Languages, Literature and Culture. Shr is married with children and enjoys cooking, reading, writing and travelling.
