Biography

Onwukah Benjamin Orji-Mba is a lecturer in the Department of English and Modern Languages, where he has taught courses such as: Use of English, Introduction to Literature, Introduction to Nigerian Literature, The African Novel,  African Drama, African Poetry, Introduction to African Oral Literature, Literature, Popular Culture and the Mass Media, Oral Literature Research, Contemporary Nigerian Writers, Comparative Literature, Creative Writing, and Studies in Autobiographical/Biographical Literature. His research interest revolves around literary theory and criticism, African literature, oral literature, literary stylistics and gender studies. O. B. Orji-Mba currently serves as Coordinator of the GST Use of English course in the University. He is a member of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Reading Association of Nigeria (RAN), Literary Society of Nigeria (LSN) and English Scholars’ Association of Nigeria (ESAN). His hobbies include playing and watching football, watching movies, listening to music, and making friends.
