A 1998 Political Science graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. Holds a master's in International Relations and Strategic Studies and a Doctorate from Benue State University Makurdi. Joined the services of Benue State University in 2005 as program officer in the Centre for Gender Studies. Became Faculty in 2012 and rose to Senior Lecturer in 2015 and the joined Federal University of Lafia same year. Appointed Acting Head, Department of Political Science from 2016-2020. Also served as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences from 2017-2020. Served the university in several committees. Has been a resource person with UNODC on migration, human trafficking and child labour.
