Biography

Karen Dogoh is a Lecturer with the Department of English and Modern Languages, Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria.

Karen Dogoh is an Alumni of Benue State University (BSU), Makurdi,, Nigeria. She obtained her first and second degrees at BSU, Makurdi with a BA (Hons) English with a project titled "New trends in women writtings: A study of Zaynab Alkali's The Descendants and Sefi Atta's Everything Good will Come". Her MA Literature thesis is titled "A Post-Colonial Reading of Helon Habila's Novels". Karen is currently running her PhD programm at Nassarawa State University, Keffi.

Karen's areas of research lie in, Post-Colonial Literature, Gender Studies and African Literture..

Outside academic activities, Karen loves to Sing, travel, reading and writing.
