Biography

                                                                      

My name is Oluwafemi Ebenezer Ayorinde, staff number AO810. I am in the department of Psychology, faculty of the Social Sciences, Federal University Lafia. Lafia, Nasarawa State. I am a native of Owo, Owo Local Government, Ondo state. I was born and raised in Ibadan, Oyo state. I did my elementary education at Sunshine Kiddies College, Oke Bola, Ibadan. I proceeded to Ibadan Boys’ High School, Oke Bola ,Ibadan. For my secondary education from 1997-2003. My first degree certificate in Psychology was obtained at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. This was in 2013. I proceeded for my National Youths Corp Service at Aba, Abia State. My service year was eventful, serving my country in a business city in the East made me understand the business nature of the Igbo and their culture. I did my M.Sc., Psychology, specialized in Social Psychology at the prestigious University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State. In the year 2017.
I have had various work experience at different organizations, like Law firm as Office Admin Staff, teaching and mentoring younger students in Aba while serving the country. I have also had work experience in the Oil and Gas sector at the National Petroleum Investment Services as a Postgraduate Intern as parts of my postgraduate program.
Also, I have been a practicing Behavioural and Speech Therapist for the past four years. Working with other professionals in helping most especially children with psychological deficiencies like delay speech ,Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum , Learning deficiency and other developmental issues with children that could be caused by biological ,psychological or social factors.
Some of the areas of interest in psychology that I have researched on are the correlation between personality and mental using Nigerian undergraduate students in Ekiti. Another one is the influence of the family structure on conflict management in sexual relationship among young adults in Lagos.
I am a liberal individual who believes there are different ways and methods of making things done. I am not rigid on opinion because there is no absolute truth. All truths are relative.
