Biography

Hussein Oshomah Ahmed is a Lecturer of the department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, Federal University Lafia. He obtained B.Sc. Zoology from the University of Benin, M.Sc. Environmental Biology from the University of Abuja, Postgraduate Diploma in Education and is currently a Ph.D. candidate of Zoology (Environmental Animal Physiology).

His areas of research interest include Animal Physiology and Toxicology of different tissues as it relates to contamination and pollution of the environment. Heavy metals, pesticides and other pollutants in vertebrates and invertebrates form the core of his research and possible natural extracts to mitigate the effects of various pollutants.
He is married with children.
